I’m delighted to be included as a guest speaker at this year’s Atlantic Film Festival, who along with the Dalhousie Art Gallery will be honouring the National Film Board of Canada and Buster Keaton with a screening of Keaton’s 1965 short film, The Railrodder. This charming and important little movie was filmed in part at Lawrencetown Beach, just outside of Halifax, exactly fifty years ago. I’ll be giving a short talk and reading from my new novel, Like Any Other Monday.
