It was an enormous privilege for me to spend time at the Elizabeth Bishop House as a guest artist on several occasions. The gift of time and space allowed me to write deeply and uninterrupted.

 

Two of my books really came to life within those walls. Most recently I had the place filled with Buster-related materials as I found my way to my novel.

 

Now the house is for sale. It would be wonderful if it could continue on as an artist retreat.
