Word on the Street

“The organized soul has but one book beside the bed. The glutton sleeps with a New York skyline lurching an inch from the bed.”

- Charlotte Gray

I’m so looking forward to the greatest book party going, Word on the Street, this Sunday at the Halifax waterfront. What’s better than spending the day surrounded by books, the people who write them, and most importantly, the people who read them? I’m delighted to be giving a reading from A Certain Grace - I’ll be reading at 12:00 at the “Remarkable Reads” stage (details here) and signing books afterwards.

For the rest of the day I’ll be standing guard at the Humber School for Writers table, pleased as punch to talk to anyone who is interested to hear about Humber’s writing programs.

Fingers crossed for decent weather… I hope to see some Dear Readers there!
